RATHYATRA MELA - IN VARANASI

Rathyatra of the lord Vishnu is famous in the world. The festival of rathyatra is making several part of India. Rathyatra mela also famous in the Varanasi.  Rathyatra mela running there days in Varanasi. The devotee are come from all over the world.

The Rathyatra mela start with the Aarti of Lord Jagannath, Subhadra and balaram. The devotee comes to pray of lord Jagannath, Subhadra and balaram. Rath yatra mela being held in varanasi a very long time to go.

Varanasi : The City of Oldest Temples

Varanasi temples are famous in the world. Varanasi is the city of temple; Varanasi is so fascinated about prayer and tradition. Kashi vishwanath Golden temple is main attraction of the Varanasi.  There are two vishwanath temple in Varanasi , first is known as old Kashi vishwanath temple which is located at bank of holy river Ganga and second is known as new vishwanath temple with in B.H.U. campus (Banaras Hindu University).People of all over the world to came here to see the golden temple of lord Shiva.

Sankat Mochan Hanuman temple is one of the revered temple of Hindu god hanuman in the Varanasi. The statue of God Hunuman in Sankat Mochan temple is made by wood. The people of Varanasi are so much fetch on the sankat mochan hanuman. Sankat mochan temple is located near to durgakund.

Durgakund is famous for Durga temple, which is dedicated to goddess durga,It is build in eighteenth century. This is one of important temple of Varanasi and attached with jal kund(pond) so we call durgakund, so much devotee come here on Tuesday.

Kaal Bhairav himself has eight manifestations of the lord Shiva. Kaal bhairav temple is one of the oldest temples in the Varanasi, we also know as Kaal bhairav (kashi ka kotwal).This temple very close to town hall, Maidagin Varanasi; you can see the never ending queue of devotee to Kaal bhairav temple on Sunday.

Varanasi is the Holy City

Varanasi is the most ancient city in the world, it is older than Rome. Varanasi is situated between varuna and asshi that why we called Varanasi. Varanasi is an immortal city. Varanasi is situated on the trident of lord Shiva.Kashivishwanath temple is worshiped by all Indian.Kashivishwanath temple is rebuild by Maratha queen ahilyabhai in 1776.Varanasi is the cultural capital of India; it is guardian of culture and tradition.

The Ghats of Varanasi famous in the world; the length of Ghats is about 7 km long. Along the Ghats there are temples, palaces and hermitage. It is a city of temple and river Ganga flow there. You can see the temple in the ever corner of the city.The devotees come all over the world to take bath in river Ganga at don. The devotees stand in Ganga with folded hand and go there head. The Gangs washes away fines.

Varanasi is also famous for Sankatmochan temple,Manas mandir, Sarnath, Saris, Banarasi Pan, langra aam (Malda Mango) etc. Mahatma Buddha gave his first sermon in Sarnatha. Sarnath is just 10 km. away from Varanasi city. Varanasi is famous tourism resort,allot of people came from around the world to visit the Varanasi.

Varanasi is also famous with their university like B.H.U, Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth, and Sanskrit Sampurnanand University.
